George Stone is an accomplished insurance advisor who has offered expert insurance counsel to successful families and businesses throughout the United States for over 40 years. He grew up in Lake Bluff, graduated with honors from Lake Forest High School and Dartmouth College, and earned his Chartered Life Underwriter designation from the American College. The hallmark of George’s career is the unique ability to connect with individuals personally and respond with solutions to diverse insurance needs. “Insurance is the firewall between the multitude of risks in the world and everything a business or family has worked hard to save. A sought after industry speaker, George has given back to the community with years of service on the Board of Directors for the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club in which he is a Paul Harris Fellow, Epilepsy Center of the Northern Illinois, guest lecturer at Lake Forest College, President of the Trevian Soccer Club, and President/Founder of FC United – one of the largest travel soccer clubs in the country. He is a Class Officer in Gift Giving for the Dartmouth Class of ’79 and has chaired numerous National Producer Advisory Councils for the major insurance companies which Hill & Stone represents.
George lives in Wilmette with his wife, Patricia Stone, CPCU and they enjoy spending time together traveling and seeing their three adult children and granddaughter.
