Natalie Stone - President

As the fourth-generation leader of a 100+ year old insurance agency, Natalie Stone combines traditional values with innovative approaches to protect what matters most to her clients. Representing industry-leading insurance carriers, she specializes in safeguarding successful families and businesses from complex liabilities. 

Natalie’s warm personality and in-depth industry knowledge allows her to simplify the insurance experience, providing holistic counsel on asset preservation and risk management. She partners closely with clients to develop comprehensive insurance solutions that protect their assets while remaining competitively priced.

Natalie holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where she received financial grants for entrepreneurial initiatives. She earned her B.A. from Lafayette College as a Division I soccer player and graduated with honors from New Trier High School. She is a designated Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), demonstrating her commitment to professional excellence and ongoing education in industry developments. She also holds a Management Liability Insurance Specialist (MLIS) designation, specializing in protecting businesses and executives from complex liability exposures.

Natalie resides in Lake Bluff, Illinois with her husband Caleb and their three young daughters. When not playing with and caring for her children, she enjoys quiet moments with a good book, reflecting her lifelong passion for reading. Her expertise includes comprehensive asset protection strategies, risk assessment and mitigation, personalized coverage optimization, and strategic carrier selection for personal and business needs.

Caleb Pearson - Managing Partner & CFO

Caleb Pearson is a transformative leader with 20 years of experience in marketing, technology, corporate strategy, and relationship-driven growth. As Managing Partner & CFO at Hill and Stone Insurance, he focuses on building long-term partnerships and delivering tailored risk solutions for successful individuals, families, and businesses.

Drawing on executive leadership roles across Fortune 500 companies, Caleb elevates the client experience, expands advisory capabilities, and drives sustainable growth through personalized service and trusted guidance. Before transitioning into insurance, Caleb served as Vice President at McDonald’s, where he led Media, CRM, Loyalty, Digital, Delivery, and Customer Experience. Earlier in his career, he led Marketing Strategy and Analytics at Grubhub and held leadership roles at Citi, specializing in loyalty marketing for affluent clients.

Caleb holds a BS from Wake Forest University and an MBA from Georgetown University. He has completed the Chicago and Tokyo Marathons in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities. Known for his integrity, thoughtful leadership, and ability to build high-performing teams, he consistently earns the trust of clients and colleagues alike. He is also proud to serve on the Board of Directors of Elawa Farm Foundation, Beacon Place in Waukegan, and the Wake Forest Chicago Board.

He lives in Lake Bluff, Illinois, with his wife Natalie – who leads their family insurance firm – and their three daughters: Penelope, Lilyrose, and Miley. Outside of work, he enjoys international travel, golf, and live music.

Maribel Saldana - Director of Operations & Commercial Insurance Manager

Maribel Saldana serves as Director of Operations & Commercial Insurance Manager at Hill & Stone Insurance, bringing deep industry knowledge, strong leadership, and a commitment to excellence across all facets of the business. In her dual role, she is responsible for setting best practices across all lines of business, overseeing internal workflows, and ensuring the consistent development and performance of team members through comprehensive training and mentorship.

As Commercial Lines Insurance Manager, Maribel oversees the placement, servicing, and renewal of commercial insurance policies for business clients while managing a team of account managers. She handles complex commercial risks, ensures compliance with underwriting guidelines, and identifies opportunities for coverage enhancements and cost savings. Maribel works closely with business insurance clients to provide strategic risk management solutions as their needs evolve and change.

Known for her ability to balance big-picture operational strategy with the practical demands of daily client service, Maribel plays a critical role in maintaining Hill & Stone’s high service standards while enhancing operational efficiency. She is dedicated to fostering growth—both for the agency and for the professionals she mentors.

Maribel graduated as valedictorian from Round Lake High School and earned her degree from Lake Forest College, where she majored in Economics and Religion and graduated cum laude. Her academic excellence reflects the same attention to detail and commitment to excellence she brings to her work at Hill & Stone.

Maribel treasures time with her family, especially watching her son play sports and attending baseball and football games together. She enjoys traveling with her family and spending quiet moments cuddling her two dogs or taking them on long walks, finding balance between her professional responsibilities and the personal connections that matter most to her.

Abbey Exon - Director of Private Client

Abbey is a Director of Private Client specializing in personalized risk management solutions for successful individuals, multigenerational families, and family offices – partnering closely with clients to develop sophisticated strategies aligned with their financial goals, values, and long-term vision, while providing ongoing advocacy across planning, claims guidance, and renewal strategy.

She works closely with clients to protect what they’ve built and plan thoughtfully for what’s ahead, collaborating with tax, legal, and estate planning advisors to ensure insurance strategies are aligned within broader wealth and legacy planning. Her experience spans diverse geographic regions across the U.S., allowing her to thoughtfully structure coverage across varying markets and risk environments.

Her expertise also includes designing programs that incorporate international exposures, seamlessly integrating global assets and liabilities into a cohesive, well-coordinated insurance portfolio.

This experience extends to insuring coastal properties, where she navigates climate risk, evolving underwriting guidelines, and regulatory nuances. By leveraging strong carrier relationships, she helps clients with waterfront and wildfire-exposed properties maintain comprehensive and well-structured coverage strategies.

A Certified Private Risk and Insurance Advisor (CPRIA), Abbey is known for her high-touch, relationship-driven service model. She is particularly skilled in structuring insurance programs for families navigating intergenerational wealth transitions, while also helping rising generations grow into stewardship roles. Her attentive, consultative approach makes her a trusted advisor to clients seeking continuity across generations.

Outside of her professional work, Abbey enjoys time at Midtown Athletic Club, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.

George Stone - Principal

With over 45 years as an accomplished insurance advisor, George Stone has provided expert counsel to successful families and businesses throughout the United States. His career is distinguished by an exceptional ability to forge personal connections while delivering tailored solutions for diverse insurance needs. 

George believes that “Insurance is the firewall between the multitude of risks in the world and everything a business or family has worked hard to save.” His dedication to client service has built multi-generational relationships based on trust and competitive products.

George graduated with honors from Dartmouth College after attending Lake Forest High School. He holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from the American College, signifying advanced expertise in life insurance and estate planning, including individual and business life insurance needs, succession planning, and wealth preservation.

A respected industry speaker, George has served on the Board of Directors for the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club, where he is a Paul Harris Fellow. His community service extends to the Epilepsy Center of Northern Illinois, guest lecturing at Lake Forest College, and leadership roles as President of the Trevian Soccer Club and President/Founder of FC United, one of the country’s largest travel soccer clubs. 

George serves as a Class Officer in Gift Giving for the Dartmouth Class of ’79 and has chaired numerous National Producer Advisory Councils for major insurance carriers. He treasures time with his wife, three adult children, and grandchildren, finding renewal during vacations in Northern Wisconsin, where he embraces tranquility and the opportunity to disconnect from professional demands.
